The work
Witch of the East is one person.
I am an independent trans artist, and I taught myself what this project needed. The writing and the recording. The mixing and the mastering. The artwork, the photography, the lighting, the filming, the edit. This website you are reading it on. Not out of ambition, but because none of it was going to exist otherwise.
So when a performance is filmed properly, with the full rig and a real mix, there is no production company behind it and nobody waiting off camera. It is the same hands that made the music.
These recordings are the only honest way I have found to put you in the room.
