HRH Goth: A Goth Weekend to Remember

I've been a fan of goth music for as long as I can remember, so when I had the opportunity to play at HRH Goth at the O2 Academy Leeds and O2 Forum Kentish Town, I was beyond excited to play these historic venues. The festival is known for its dark and atmospheric atmosphere, and I knew it would be the perfect place for my music.

I think it's only right to give a shout-out to Cold In Berlin at this point. Without them, our HRH Goth experience wouldn't have happened. They gave my contact information to one of the HRH Goth organisers when they had to pull out of their slots due to one of their band members having COVID-19. I felt terrible for them! They're super nice people.

The first show was at the O2 Academy Leeds, and the second one was at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Both shows were sold out, and the crowds were absolutely gorgeous.

I'll never forget the feeling of walking out on stage at The O2 Academy Leeds and seeing the sea of people coming in through the doors as we started. They were all dressed in their finest gothic attire, and they had such a passion for the music. It was an amazing feeling to be able to share my music with them.

Straight from the Leeds show, we had to head down to Nottingham as we were headlining a pride event for Dirty Filthy Sexy at The Brickworks. Which was why we had to go on first for both the Academy shows. We were already booked for the Notts pride show, which was put on by Dan and Ash. They're super nice and die-hard goth fans themselves. The night was absolutely amazing! It started off with drag acts and then moved into the domain of heavy live music. I somehow lost both of my beautiful masks at this show, which had been imported all the way from America. I guess you win some, you lose some.

The show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town was just as amazing, even with only a few hours' sleep. The Forum is without a doubt the most beautiful venue I've ever played. I was really glad to see familiar faces in the crowd from Healthy Junkies and A Void.

HRH Goth was an incredible experience, and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to play at it. It was a night that I'll never forget.
